Change the World Tuesday - Ornate Style Bundle (#154119)

This week only...
Purchase this Ornate Style Bundle (#154119) or place an order of $70+, and I will send you a package of FREE Gilded Gems!

Today’s purpose...
Let's think of those people in our lives that provide a service to us.  Today's focus are those job titles that start with the letter "b".  Let's be a bright light of thanks to those who help us day by day.

Technique...
Today's colouring tool is the DAUBER.  I used them in two different ways today, to colour part of my cards.

The Cards...

Card 1
I stamped the small flower image over and over in Soft Suede ink.  I rubbed the dauber in Terracotta Tile and Flirty Flamingo on the flower portions and Old Olive on the leaves.  For the negative space, I coloured using Mint Macaron ink and the dauber.  It creates such a soft look!

Card 2
Instead of putting the stamp into the ink pad, I used daubers to add different colours to the stamp!  I put yellow onto the daisy petals, brown close to the center of the flower, some orange around the outside of the petals and green to the stem and leaf.  I then added a little bit of the green all around the white cardstock to make it less "bright".
