Technique...

Learn how to use black and white die cut images.

The Cards:

Card 1:

Stamp the branch and leaf image in Gray Granite around the outside of the front of the card base.

Emboss the greeting onto the sentiment layer.

Fold the ribbon pieces in half and affix to the back of the rectangle layer.

Glue all together, adding embellishments to add some bling.

Measurements:

Card Base - Gray Granite Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in half

Layer 1 - Gray Granite Cardstock - Stitched Rectangle Die - 4 3/4 x 3 3/8

Sentiment Layer - Terracotta Tile Cardstock - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2

Branch - Vellum and Whisper White Cardstock - 3 3/4 x 2

Birds - Whisper White Cardstock - 3 3/4 x 1 1/2

Card Insert - Whisper White Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4

Card 2:

Stamp the leaf image in Versamark around the outside of the front of the card base.

Using your daubers, rub on different ink colours, onto the Shimmery White Cardstock.

Stamp the greetings using Memento Black Ink.

Using the dark Black Stampin' Blend, colour two pearls for the eyes.

Glue all together.

Splatter with Wink of Stella to add extra shimmer.

Measurements:

Card Base - Bumblebee Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in half

Layer 1 - Terracotta Tile Cardstock - 5 1/8 x 3 7/8

Layer 2 - Basic Black Cardstock - 4 1/4 x 3

Sentiment Layer - Shimmery White Cardstock - 4 1/8 x 2 7/8

Branch - Basic Black Cardstock - 3 3/4 x 2

Birds - Basic Black Cardstock - 3 3/4 x 1 1/2

Heart - Terracotta Tile Cardstock - 3/4 x 3/4

Card Insert - Whisper White Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4
