One Sheet Wonder Idea #2 - 6x6 FREE Sale-a-Bration paper

                                           One Sheet Wonder Idea #2

- idea Libby Fens

This layout idea uses a piece of 6x6 patterned paper to make four different cards.

For this first example, I'm using the FREE Sale-a-Bration #158126 Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series paper.

1.  Cut the 6x6 paper in half and then in half to make 3x3 squares.

2.  Take one of the 3x3 squares and cut it in half, along the 1 1/2 inch mark (2 pieces).

3.  On another 3x3 square, cut it into three pieces by cutting along the 1 inch line (1x3)

4.  Lastly, cut another 3x3 square into four pieces, along the 1 1/2 inch mark vertically and horizontally.

5.  Cut four pieces of 1x3 light coloured cardstock to stamp the sentiments onto.

6.  Cut four pieces of coordinating cardstock measuring
3 1/4 x 4 1/2 for mats.

7.  For the cardbase, cut four pieces at 8 x 5 1/2, folded in half like a book.

Now we are ready to assemble!

Card 1:

- glue the uncut ONE 3x3 piece of patterned paper to the top or bottom of the cardstock cut for the mat.  On the opposite end, attach the stamped sentiment.

Using dimensionals, attach the mat to the middle of the card base and your first card is complete!

Card 2:

- Attach the TWO Rainbows & Sunshine paper to the mat, along the top and bottom.  I flipped one of the strips over to have the opposite side of the paper shown.

- Stamp the sentiment and glue the strip to the middle of the mat.

Using dimensionals, attach the mat to the cardbase.  Card 2 is complete.

Card 3:

Glue the THREE strips of patterned paper and the sentiment layer in whatever order you choose, onto the mat.

Using dimensionals, attach the mat to the card base.  Card 3 is complete.

Card 4:

Glue the FOUR, 1 1/2 inch squares along the top and bottom of the mat.  In the middle, glue the sentiment strip.

Once again, using dimensionals, attach the mat to the card base.  Card 4 is complete.

The way I remember things is:

Card 1 has ONE piece of patterned paper.

Card 2 has TWO pieces of patterned paper.

Card 3 has THREE pieces of patterned paper.

Card 4 has FOUR pieces of patterned paper.

Here are some card examples that I created .

For these four cards, I used the FREE Sale-a-Bration #158127 Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper.

For the final set of cards, I used the FREE Sale-a-Bration #158128 Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (purple colour).

I stamped the large flower image repeatedly from the Blessings of Home stamp set and coloured it with Stampin' Blends markers.

On these cards, I added an extra mat of Basic White cardstock measuring 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, along with some ribbon and Pastel Pearls.

This one sheet wonder creates four simple and easy cards that are great as is, or can be embellished to the nines.

Until the end of February, when you order $60 worth of product, you are able to choose a free item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  There are three patterned paper options!
