Make it Marvelous Monday - Geared Up Garage - #148590 & #151812

This week only...
Purchase the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set (#148590) and the coordinating Garage Gears Dies (#151812), or place an order of $75+ and I will send you some 6x6 paper sampler of the NEW "In Good Taste DSP!

Today’s purpose...
Let's make some masculine themed cards, and maybe even a card that would work for Father's Day!

Technique...
Today we are going to distress the edges of the paper to make it look more..."grrrr."

The Card Measurements...

Card Base:
- 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in half
Front Layers:
- Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4
- Circle measuring 3 1/4
- DSP - 3/4 x 3 1/2
Card Insert:
 - 4 x 5 1/4

The Card:
I stamped all the cars on the layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock.  Around the edges, I used a dauber to apply Smoky Slate ink, to make the paper look a little dirty.  I took the scissors edge and scraped it along the edge of the paper to make the paper look roughed up.

On the circle, I stamped the nuts image as well as the smoke image, randomly all over.

To make the sentiment layer, I stamped the saying onto Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut it out and glued it onto the "cement looking" paper from the NEW!  In Good Taste DSP!
