Technique...

Colour vs no colour.  Sometimes little stamps intimidate me because I feel like I have to colour them in.  Today, I did a card that was not coloured and one that was.  Both look great!

The Cards...

The basic measurements for all the following cards are:
Card Base:
- 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in half
Front Layers:
- 1 piece of cardstock or DSP - 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 (or 5 1/4)
- 1 piece of silver foil - 3/4 x 5 1/2 (or 5 1/4)
- 1 piece of Whisper White cardstock to stamp on - 1 3/4 x 5 1/2 (or 5 1/4)Card Insert:
 - 4 x 5 1/4

Card 1:

For this card, I didn't want to colour in the stamped images.  I used Basic Gray ink instead of the harsh colour of black.  I added pops of colour elsewhere, on the brick embossed layer and with the splatter.

For this card, I coloured in the stamped images.  I coloured ink as well as Memento Black to stamp the images.  Doesn't the red and white check scream BBQ?  Love it!
