Today’s purpose...
Last week we focused on a lot of other people.  This week, to start our week off, let's focus on ourselves and making sure our cup is full, so that we are ready to help others.  What I find relaxing is colouring.  This set lends itself to some fun colouring techniques!

Technique...
Each day, I am going to showcase a different colouring tool and some techniques that you can use using product, along with this beautiful bundle!  Today, we are going to be using our STAMPIN' BLENDS.

The Cards...

Card 1
I love using the dark and light combo of Stampin' Blend markers to create dimension and details, when colouring.  Here I showcased a smaller portion of the large flower image.  I combined it with the beautiful DSP that coordinates with this bundle.

Card 2
I saw Connie Stewart using this fold and I thought of this set right away!  I love how the Ornate Layers Dies provide the perfect "frame" for the coloured flowers.  I decided to leave the frame and the card base white, as to not compete with the beautiful colours in the flower image.

Card 3
I enjoyed the colour of the last card, but wondered what it would be like in a monochromatic version.  Bring on the blues!

Card 4
After using Stampin' Blends markers, if you flip over the coloured page, you will see lots of colour!  I decided to showcase the "wrong" side of the paper, in this card.  I love how the Ornate Layers Dies cut the DSP.  Check out how the Stitched Rectangle Dies fit PERFECTLY on the inside of the "frame".  Also, if you can see, look at the texture in the embossed Rich Razzleberry paper.  Can you see the little flowers?

Card 5
Not only can you colour with Stampin' Blends onto a Memento stamped image, but you can colour onto an embossed image as well.  Here, I embossed with gold and colored the daisies.  It is advised to try to avoid the embossing as much as possible, as it tends to dull the finish of the embossed areas.  Also, don't you love the cut out portion of the card.  Love these!

Card 6
Colouring onto vellum is a great technique and can be used to look like "stained glass."  I wanted to make a window like card, to showcase this technique, the bold colours of the Stampin' Blends along with this bundle.  Make sure to use Stazon Ink to stamp your image, otherwise the ink won't dry well and the Stampin' Blends will smear the outline.

Card 7
We always tend to colour the stamped image, but what about the negative space?  I decided to colour it instead!
